He is survived by: his wife Nell Larae Wood Sloan; his mother Joyce Evans Sloan; his sister Suzy Sloan; his children, Amanda Oglesby, Andrew Matthew and Mattilynn Sloan; his stepchildren, Jennifer Jones and William Wood; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Tommy Oglesby, Hannah and Randy Jones.
