He was predeceased by: his parents, William Voda Heird and Mary Cotton Heird; his sister Vieola Neil; and his nephew David Heird. He is survived by: his wife Lagayla Heird of Royal; his children, Ben Heird of Arkadelphia, Christy Heird of Poyen, Melissa Pascuzzi of Hot Springs, Terri Magee of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Tammy Laughery of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his siblings, C. W. Heird of Hot Springs, Joe Jack Heird of Conway, John David Heird of Sheridan and Margie Pope of Sheridan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and many wonderful friends.
Social distancing directives will be in place with no more than 100 persons at any one time in the funeral home chapel, avoidance of physical contact and all attendees 10 years of age or older must be wearing a face covering at all times when inside the funeral home.
