He was predeceased by: his parents, John Francis and Mary L. O'Dell (Kendrix); his wife Erma J. Rorie O'Dell; and his grandsons, Donnie Wayne Jones and Greg Beals.

He is survived by: his children, Sandy Roehrs of Rogers, Leslie O'Dell of Hot Springs and Nelda Kaye (Ronnie Beals) of Royal; his grandchildren, Tammy Roehrs of Rogers, Robert O'Dell and Husband Gary Oneal of Hot Springs; and his great grandchildren, Breanna, Drake and Gabe.
