He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Norman and Velma Bland Alcorn; and his granddaughter Shirley Kay Alcorn. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Chappell Alcorn; his children, Sandra (Donald Ross) of Silva, Larry Alcorn, Pam Kiersz of Rolla, MO and Debbie Alcorn of Rose Bud; his grandchildren, Alicia (Brian Robbins), Danielle (Bryan Hall), Tyler (Shannon Kiersz), Kayce (Jimi Smith), Chris Kiersz, Brandi Harris and Ashley Albritton; and his siblings, Rhonda (Danny Purcell), Sharon Hunt, Brenda Triolo, Leroy (Anita Alcorn) and Sheila (Floyd Pyle). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends.
