He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Carter and Julia "Tennie" Carter (Bomar) of Tennessee; and his grandson Casey Carter. He is survived by: his sons, Don Carter (Sherry), Tony Carter and Alex Eudy (Tiffany); and his grandchildren, Elisha Carter, Ryan Osborne (Emily), Marysa Carter, Landon Carter, Jordan and William Eudy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
