Anthea Brogan Obituary
We bid farewell to Anthea Brogan of Rose Bud, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 30, 2025 at the age of 70. Anthea touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Dewan Treat and Flora Ann Treat (Heard); and her grandparents, William Luther, Eula Evelyn Treat (Rains), James B. and Theora L. Heard (Sutzer).
She is survived by: her children, Amelia Duarte of Fayetteville, Evelyn Jones (Andy) of Russellville and Kenneth Brogan of Rose Bud; her grandchildren, Alexander, Arianna, Julianna and Athena; and her siblings, Rodney Treat of Benton, Jane Lard (Corby) of Leslie, Jim Treat (Nancy) of Junction City, Kansas and Catherine Lovett (Greg) of Lubbock, Texas. She is also survived by nephews and nieces, numerous cousins and many friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Nubbin Hill Cemetery (5036 Kimbrell Crk Rd, Leslie, AR 72650).
In lieu of flowers, for those wishing to give in memoriam of Anne, we are asking that they graciously give in the following way: Donate to your local humane society however, if you prefer somewhere more specific, we are fond of the Heber Springs Humane Society and the Searcy County Humane Society.
