He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh B. Cowling and Gladys Aylor Cowling; and his son-in-law Joe G. Terry. He is survived by: his wife Judith "Judy" Cowling of Romance; his children, Melissa "Missy" Terry of Romance and Hugh Adrian; his daughter-in-law Lori Cowling of Mustang, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Natalie (Trey Jagers), Kailey Terry, Brendan Terry, Kacy Cowling and Tinsley Cowling; and his nephew Dennis Dellinger.
