He is survived by: his wife Margaret Wahnon; his daughters, Angela Herring (Avery) of Searcy and Margaret Whitley (Daniel) of Rose Bud; his grandchildren, Joel Whitley (Mae) of Searcy, Erin Wallace (Spenser) of Searcy and Grace Whitley of Rose Bud; his great grandchildren, Amos Boone, Simeon, Til and Caroline; and his siblings, Angel Wahnon (Amalia) of Ottawa, Canada and Sandra Morris (Harry) of Bridgenorth. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
