He was predeceased by: his parents, Auda Martindale and Melvin Martindale; and his brothers, Jesse and Carroll Martindale. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Dickerson Martindale; his children, Jason Martindale and Alicia Hernandez; his stepsons, Darrell and John Dickerson; his granddaughter Jaicee Blake Martindale; his stepgrandson Clay Dickerson; and his siblings, Darrell Martindale (Bonnie), Tim Martindale (Rusty) and Betty Burleson (Russell). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
