We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2024, at the age of 76, LaWanda Whitt of Roland, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, LaWanda is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that LaWanda's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward O'Neal and Ila Mae O'Neal (Earnheart); her husband Russel Whitt; her daughter Lela Whitt; and her sister Patricia Herndon.
She is survived by: her sons, Clay Whitt and Kevin Whitt (Teresa); and her siblings, Jean Zulpo (James), Kathy Zini (Jack), Sybil Netherton (Tim) and Charlie O'Neal. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
