With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dewane L. Hendrix of Roland, Arkansas, born in Start, Louisiana, who passed away on January 17, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Rena Letlow Hendrix; his foster parents, Lexie, Roberta Woods (Bert), Baptist and Dewane; and his siblings, Willard, Kenneth, Charles Hendrix and Sylvia Selk.
He is survived by: his sisters, Remona Hisaw and Carolyn Thomas; his wife Marjorie; his children, Kelly Westerman (Paul) of Hutto, TX and Dr. Barry Hendrix of Paragould; his grandchildren, Jennifer Westerman Farrell (Shawn), Sarah Westerman Rock (David), Mary Stege (Paul), Adam Westerman, Zachary Westerman, Katherine Westerman, Emily Westerman, Caleb Westerman, Hannah Westerman, Gabriel Westerman, Tabitha Westerman, Victoria Westerman, Natalie Westerman, Richard Westerman, Jonathan Westerman, Lexie Hendrix, Sallie Hendrix, Slade Hendrix and Isaac Hendrix; his great grandchildren, Rebecca, Jonah Farrell, Aaron, Elizabeth Lee, Claire and Paul Stege; and his friends, Bob Shaver, Danny Knight and Tommy Venters. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, uncles.
