He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiliford Rhea and Daisy Jane Patterson Knight; and his half-brother Billy Reese Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Janice Knight of Rogers; his children, Rodney (Susan Watkins) of Irving, David Rhea (Elizabeth Knight) of Philadelphia and Kirsten (Brent Batson) of Austin, Texas.; his grandchildren, Jordan Batson (Megan) of Austin, Jace Batson of Austin, Hunter Watkins of Irving, Grant Watkins of Irving, Breanne (Robbie MacNaughton) of Colorado, Brittany (Brian Cox) of Waxahachie and Mabel Bland Knight of Philadelphia; his great grandchildren, Malcomb Watkins of Irving, Andrew Cox of Waxahachie, Tatum Cox of Waxahachie, Everly Watkins of Irving and Brynn Batson of Austin, Texas.; and his sisters, Jane Marie (Roy Daniels) of Quinlan and Jessie Knight of Wills Point, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
