He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Wye Burks Sr. and Verna Caroline Stafford Burks; and his siblings, Cecil Burks Jr. (Bud), Elizabeth Musticchi (Kitty) and Zetta Friday.
He is survived by: his family Burks Wrecking; his children, Audra Burks (Melanie), Jared Burks (Amber), Dana Huyck (Jim) and Megan Claxton (Erik); and his grandchildren, Branwen Burks, Caitlin Burks, Greyson Burks, Caroline Huyck and Sophia Huyck. He is also survived by his daughter play golf, fishing with his family, playing golf with his son-in-law and cousin, and supporting his children and grandchildren.
