She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Lee and Mollie Snoderly Brown; her spouse John Floyd Lawson; and her siblings, Onnell Brown and Selestia Brown Hayes (Ray Hays).

She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Lawson and Jerry Lee Lawson of Rogers; her grandson Bradley Phillip Lawson (Anne) of Stillwater, Okla.; and her great grandchildren, Becca, Emma and John Lawson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
