With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona Mae Ball of Rogers, Arkansas, born in Bentonville, Arkansas, who passed away on August 1, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Woods Boyd and Edwin Boyd; her siblings, Bill (Beverly Boyd), Thomas (Clarice Boyd) and Emily Boyd Phillips; her siblings-in-law, June (Clyde Bohannon), Shirley (Roger Gross), Jim, Tommie Ball and Darrell Ball; and her daughter Sheila Ball.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Ball; her daughter Sandi Ball Carpenter; her stepdaughters, Della Peters and Gogi Reynolds; her grandchildren, Jordan Carpenter, Cade Carpenter, Bryan Ball, Trudy Waltz and Jamie Wentz; her brother-in-law Gene Phillips; her brother Milton; and her sisters-in-law, Brenda Ball and Sue Ball. She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
