He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sims and Wanda Sims; his uncles, Floyd (Vivian) and Doyne Sims; and his aunt Joanna Scully (Bob).
He is survived by: his wife Charlene; his sons, Paul Sims (Laurie) and Ricky Sims (Tasha); his grandchildren, Baylie Smith (Sims), Braden Sims, Annie Richardson (Sims), Kale Sims, Wil Sims, Hannah Ryan (Sims) and Rachel Sims; his great grandchildren, Evelyn Richardson and Ridgley Ryan; and his brothers, Bob Sims and Steve Sims (Trisha). He is also survived by his father, uncles, and grandfather.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nelson-Berna Funeral Home (4520 N Crossover Rd, Fayetteville, AR 72764).
