He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alan Brunton and Mary "Bunty" Steele Brunton; his wife Ruth Brunton; his children, Thomas Hamilton Brunton (Michelle) and James Alexander Brunton (Rachel); his siblings, Colin Brunton (Fiona), Lynn Thomas (Glynn) and Peter Brunton (Tracey); his brothers-in-law, Paul Stevens and Phillip Stevens; and his grandchildren, Lyla, Avie, Brian, Jules and Norah.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association or Score.Org in line with David's wishes to further the fight against ALS while supporting families impacted by it & to support an organization he spent time working with since 2023.
