He was predeceased by: his children, Denise and Sam; his sister Kathlyn Lawson; and his parents, Ernestine Hanks Jeffery and Samuel David Jeffery.
He is survived by: his wife Faye; his children, Dr. David "Davy" E. Jeffery Jr. (Joy) and Cindy Sinclair (Scott); his grandson Zander; his sisters, Jeannine Faith and Carol Cooper; his stepchildren, Kim Lake (Jeff), Katie "Sissy" Crawford (Eddie) and Harrison "Hof" French (Rhonda); and his granddaughters, Amanda Young (Russell), Elizabeth Pulliam (Blane), Hannah Peterson (Zach), Emma Slone (Kyle) and Carolina Minervinis (Henry). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Dr. Jeffery served generations of families and was known for his professionalism and was recognized for his contributions to the progress of dentistry in the state of Arkansas.
