She was predeceased by: her parents, K. D. Raney and Mary Alice Dunbar Raney; and her husband Rev. David Acklin. She is survived by: her children, William David Acklin (Teresa) and Mimi Alice McAfee (Shawn); her siblings, William Donald Raney and Cynthia "Gail" Hale (Jimmy); and her grandchildren, David Jacob Acklin, Josh Belcourt, Joshua Acklin, Joseph Acklin, Austin Acklin, Patrick Logan Tate, Connor Tate, Dylan McAfee and Mallory McAfee. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
