It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Victor Baggett (Rison, Arkansas), born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Walker and Ruby Walker; and his son Jeffrey Kent Baggett. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Baggett; his children, Vicki Spradlin of Dover and Kirby Baggett (Carla) of Benton; his daughter-in-law Annette Baggett of Rison; his grandchildren, Casey Spradlin (Jennifer), Sean Spradlin, Derik McCoy, Jacob Baggett, Laura Branson (Bryan), Brad Baggett (Casey) and Madeline Dunlap (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Ryan Hyatt, Mackenzie Spradlin, Madison Spradlin, Riley Hyatt, Leland Smith, Audrey Branson, Mack McCoy, Autumn Branson, Lincoln Baggett, Eli Dunlap and Joshua Dunlap; and his siblings, Marilyn Williamson and Jessie Rawls.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rison High School 1950 State Championship Scholarship Fund in memory of Roy Baggett.
