He is survived by: his wife Jan Kelley Speer; his children, Jennifer Speer Scheffer (Jason) and William Ray Speer (Kim); his grandchildren, Noah Scheffer, Savannah Scheffer, Molly Kate Speer and Fallon Bruich; and his siblings, Don Speer (Carolyn), James Speer (Barbara), Charles Speer (Linda), David Speer (Angie), Ben Speer (Melissa) and Mary Ceren (Dale). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
