He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ralph Hoover and Evia Lee Catherine Phillips; his wife Bettie Jo Carter Hoover; his brother Raymond Hoover; and his nephew Ben Hughes.
He is survived by: his daughter Vickie Hoover Busick; his grandson David Busick (Taylor Evans); his nieces, Gigi Taylor (Greg), Candy Hamilton and Teresa Johnson (Kevin); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Craig Hamilton, Caylee Culberson, Presley Johnson, Vance Johnson and Seth Culberson; his sister-in-law Kay Carter (Dewayne Bonds); his close friend Barbara Watts; and also, Tom, Jeanie Brown and Sarah Brown (Brady Boston).
Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital in memory of Mr. Hoover.
