It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James David Elton of Rison, Arkansas, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepfather James H. Martin; and his grandparents, Abraham Greene and Willie Arlene Holdcraft Elton. He is survived by: his daughter Nadine Elton of Germany; his mother Daphine Elton Martin of Camden; his siblings, Robert Martin (Thelma) of Plantersville, Jerry Martin (Christi) of Elko, Ricky Dale Martin (Dana) of Monticello, Lee Ray Martin (India) of Sheridan, Janice Martin Simpson of Shepherd, Deborah Woodfin of Banks, Barbara Denson (Joe) of Camden and Linda Morgan of Warren; and his uncle Francis Elton (Connie) of Little Rock. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pinewood Memorial Park (688 State Hwy 52 W, Hamburg, AR 71646). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
