She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Harvey Gavin and Lillie Mae Webb Gavin; her husbands, J. R. Spakes and Harold Hoover; and her siblings, Billy Ray Gavin, Anna Laura Burdine, Willie Merle Grice and Helen Triplett.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Susan Aikman (Rob) of White Hall, Tammie DeWees of Hot Springs, Scott Grice (Lori) of Pansy and James Burdine of Dallas, Texas..
