She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Monroe and Ruby Pearl Taylor; and her siblings, Sonny Taylor, Billy Joe Taylor, Raymond Taylor and Phyllis Rhoden.

She is survived by: her husband J. C.; her sons, David and Kevin St. John; and her siblings, Betty Chrissonberry and Johnny Mac Taylor. She is also survived by 8 children.
