With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Williams Sr. of Redfield, Arkansas, born in Shreveport, Louisiana, who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Williams and Willie Williams (Miles). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn A. Williams (Bishop) of Redfield, AR; his sons, James Dillard of Joilet, Illinois, Joseph Williams, Jr. of Fresno, California and Derrick Williams of Stockton, California; his stepsons, Kevin Bernard Richardson of Lake Charles and Vernon Days of Fairfield, California; his daughter Debbie Williams of Fresno, California; and his sisters, Jessie Bishop of Matica, California, Mae King of Chowchilla, California, Idella Mitchell of Fontana, California, Earnestine Brown of Bloomington, California, Anita Williams of Los Angeles, California, Doris Johnson of Fresno, California and Willie B. Arroyo of Madera, California. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
