He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd D. Smith and Bobbie Sue O'Guine; his brothers, Dwight Smith and Randy Smith; and his sister-in-law Lucinda Lea Lakin.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Thrash (John) and Floyd Dylan Smith (Brittany); his grandchildren, Hayden Moreau, Rachel Thrash, Ian Thrash, Victoria Lea Smith and Floyd Eli Smith; his brothers, Ronald Jordan and David Smith; and his close friend Curtis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be set up at a later date.
