We are sad to announce that on June 26, 2024, at the age of 91, Doyle Simpkins of Redfield, Arkansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doyle Simpkins to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Herbert Simpkins and Ialeen Lee Simpkins; his son Joseph Daniel Simpkins; his siblings, William Carter Simpkins, Juanita Frances Hosick and Virginia Lee Sheucraft; and his stepdaughter Judy Addie.

He is survived by : his wife Margie Lawhon Simpkins; his children, David Simpkins and Karen Joyce Maxfield; his stepchildren, Edwin "Sonny" Merideith and June Merideith; and his sisters, Dorotha Dean "Boots" McChesney of West Helena and Viola Mona Barnes of Marion, Kentucky. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors (807 S Cherry St, Pine Bluff, AR 71601). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Redfield Missionary Baptist Church (500 Davis Ave, Redfield, AR 72132).

Memorials may be made to the Redfield Cemetery Association, Post Office Box 371, Redfield, AR 72132.
