James Wesley Banks Obituary

James Wesley "Cowboy" Banks passed away on June 19, 2022 at his home in Rector, Arkansas. He was born in Rector, Arkansas to James "Dude" Elmer Banks and Mary Magdeline Lemmons Banks.

He was preceded in death by; his parents; and four brothers: James Herman Banks, Larry Wayne Banks, Dennis "Sonny" Banks, Michael "Doc" Banks.

He is survived by; his life companion of 35 years: Lisa Gregory; stepson: Eric Gregory (Rhonda); two step grandchildren: Brittany Gregory, Blake Gregory; one great grandchild; three brothers: Jim "Bones" Banks (Sebrena), Manuel "Hoss" Banks, Carroll "Guinea" Banks (Liddea); six sisters: Diane Burdin, Pat "Trix" Clayton, Reba Beck, Martha "Marty" Stevens, Evelyn "Ebby" Clark, Georgia Rios; and a host of other family and friends.

Cowboy farmed for many years, was retired from ARI, and enjoyed working in his yard. He loved his dog buddy and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

The family has requested private arrangements in the care of Faith Funeral Service in Manila, Arkansas.
