She was predeceased by: her siblings, Clyde Roofe, Hershel Roofe, Melvin Roofe, Nerene Gwyn and Minnie Estelle Roofe.
She is survived by: her spouse Leon Gatewood; her sons, Marvin Gatewood (Jane) of Rector and Garvin Gatewood (Theresa) of Rector; her sister Jesselyn Glaub of Jonesboro; and her grandchildren, Cheryl Morgan, Todd Gatewood, Renee Faust, Kinley Gatewood and Jeremy Gatewood. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
