She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Hubert Thurston and Leona Mae Thurston (Wagner); her husband Glenn Wooten; her daughters, Gertrude Hogan and Marilyn Bramlett; her siblings, Violet Wiskus, Gladys Simmons, Margaret Garmon, Jerry Thurston and Sammy Thurston; her granddaughter Patricia Hogan; and her great great grandchild Conner Wooten.
She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis Minta; and her grandchildren, Penny Kinsinger, Ronald Hogan, Devin Bramlett, Kris Minta, Shane Bramlett and Katy Minta-Weymouth. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and sixteen great-great-grandchildren.
