He was predeceased by: his father Verl Johnson; his wife Edith Johnson (Cross); his daughter Judy Seay; his sisters, Cecilia Ringgenberg and Helen Davidson; and his grandson Jeremy Johnson.
He is survived by: his sons, Dan Johnson (Amy) of Thornton and Curt Johnson (Pam) of Lacey, Washington; and his grandchildren, Amanda Lynch (Sterling), Adam Johnson, Chad Johnson, Jessica Berry (Tyrel) and Shawn Seay (Betsy). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
