He is survived by: his wife Kaye Johnston; his children, Max Dewayne Johnston of Heber Springs, Marcus Johnston of Quitman, Nikki Johnston of Higden and Jessica Ransom (Tommy) of Sherwood; his grandchildren, Marcus Johnston, Buddy Nolan Spencer Hartwick, Slade Hartwick and Bolt Sams; his great grandchild Annabell Johnston; and his siblings, Kenneth Johnston (Teresa) of Van Buren, Gene Johnston (Debra) of Quitman, Martha Bufford of Quitman and Joann Johnston of Quitman.
