With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Wood of Quitman, Arkansas, born in Wright, Arkansas, who passed away on May 1, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rayburn Wood and Mary Wood; his wife Pauline Wood (Polly); and his son Roger Wood. He is survived by: his son Gary Wood (Gladys) of Quitman; his sisters, Brenda Hefner of Shreveport, LA and Mary Hopkins (Robert) of Little Rock; and his grandchildren, Phillip Wood, Julia Wood and Dalton Wood. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
