It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ernestine Mauldin of Quitman, Arkansas, who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Ernestine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ernestine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Thurlow and Mary Cordelia Herring (Langston); her husband Charles; and her son Danny. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Baldridge (James) and Neal Mauldin (Mary Beth); and her brother Burton Herring. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and many loved nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Home Missionary Baptist Church (1 Pumpkin Center Cir, Quitman, AR 72131). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
