Pyatt, Arkansas - Monty Wayne Ply age 67, of Pyatt, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Mr. Ply was born August 24, 1951 in Gassville, Arkansas to the late Orel and Ruby (Jones) Ply. He enjoyed gardening and canning in his spare time. He loved family gatherings and cooking. Monty loved telling jokes to make people laugh.
He loved to dance and listen to his music "the oldies but the goodies". He is survived by his wife Judith (Judy) Marie Ply of 23 years; daughters: Robin (Ply) Chedda (Paul), Miranda Yocom (Ken), Carrie (Carol) Schiwitz (Ray), Laura Bardsley, Erin Bardsley, Diana Rollinger (Andrew) sons: Opie (Orel) Ply (Charlene), Bumper (Cameron) Ply, Brian Bardsley; grandchildren: Brittany Underhill, Haley Ply, Kirsten Ply, Lashawna Ply, Allonah Ply, Katelyn Yocom, Austin Yocom, Drake Yocom, Logan Yocom, Katelyn Reams (Kenigan), Logan Bardsley, Autumn Bardsley, Ashlyn Bardsley, Zoey Rollinger; brother: Troy Ply; sisters: Brenda Jo Lewis, Linda Goss, Darlene Hanstedt, Jackie Ply.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother JD Ply; and sister Phyllis (Ply) McLean. A memorial will be held by the family 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Pyatt Community Building on East Bradford Street in Pyatt, Arkansas.
