She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Patton and Cora E. Patton (Potts); her husband Russell Royal; her daughters, Sandy Sharp and Geneva Hancock; and her daughter-in-law Stacy Giles.
She is survived by: her son Pete Giles of Pyatt, Arkansas; her sons-in-law, Gary Sharp of Harmon, Arkansas and Kenneth Hancock of Pyatt, Arkansas; her brother C. L. Patton of Pyatt, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Kim Sullivan (Bill) of Pyatt, Arkansas, Misty Giles of Pyatt, Arkansas, Kelly Smith (Jason) of Pyatt, Arkansas and Ashley Giles of Pyatt, Arkansas; and her great grandchildren, Dominic Giles, Jasey Smith, Keevyn Smith and Dylan McLean.
