He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his son Scott; and his brother Howard. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his daughters, Pamela Sturdy of Dallas, Texas and Cheryl James of Cabool, Missouri; his stepchildren, Samantha Little of Ozark, Missouri, William Nichols of Springfield, Missouri and Matthew Stapleton of Phoenix, Arizona; his sister Doris Johnson; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Wyatt and Rachel Sturdy. He is also survived by one great-grandchild; and three step-great-grandchildren.
