He was predeceased by: his wife Patsy Rose; his parents, Truman and Arkie; his brother Bobby; his granddaughter Sarah Rose; and his daughter-in-law Diane Rose Sanders.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Rose, Nita Atkinson (Steve) and JJ Rose (Brenda); his sister Sue Copeland (Dale); his grandchildren, Christine Rose (Alan), Micheal Atkinson (Katy), Aidan Chilson Rose and Michael; his great grandchildren, Cory Rose (Breezy), Shelton Rose (Bethany) and Marcus Atkinson; and his great great grandchild Briar Kate Rose. He is also survived by his parents, brother, and sister.
