Richard L. Chrestman Obituary
Richard L. Chrestman, 83, of Proctor, Arkansas passed away on December 28, 2023 at Methodist University in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born on August 6, 1940 in Lambert, Mississippi to James and Ada (Neely) Chrestman. Richard was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking, helping at the church, helping others with anything he could, and spending time with his family. family.
Survivors include; loving wife of 64 years: Audrey Chrestman of the home; three sons: Lynn Chrestman (Cindy) of Williston, Tennessee, William "Bubba" Chrestman of Proctor, Arkansas, Eric Chrestman (Brittney) of Marion, Arkansas; four grandchildren: April Thomas, Rickey Chrestman, Clayton Chrestman, Makenzi Chrestman; two great grandchildren: Hayden Thomas and Emma Thomas; three brothers: Donnie Chrestman of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Rayford Chrestman (Joyce) of Olive Branch, Mississippi, Raymond Chrestman of West Memphis, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by; his parents: James and Ada (Neely) Chrestman; five brothers: Ruben Chrestman, Charles Chrestman, Doug Chrestman, Les Chrestman, Wayne Chrestman; and two sisters: Mary Little and Jeanette Stallings.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in West Memphis, Arkansas with Bro. Tommy Stacy and Bro. Billy Oyler officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
