She is survived by: her parents, Octavia Adkins and James Brunson Adkins of Proctor, Arkansas.; her husband Don Sutch; and her grandson William Grant Slager.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Julie's memory to the Glioblastoma Foundation or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
