John Rains Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Rains of Proctor, Arkansas, who passed away on September 22, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Louise Rains (Tucker) and William Harold Rains; and his granddaughter Kelly Kay Rains. He is survived by: his former wife Julia; his friend Brent Rougeau; his children, Kristie Rosenblum (Rick), Jeanie Barber (Collin), Dusty Rains (Jennifer), Rocky Rains (Larissa), Bobby Rains (Kristin) and Tanner Rains; his grandchildren, Lainee McCrackin (Josh), Abby Rains, Wesley Barber, Aidan Barber, Stella Barber, Ella Rains, Kaylie Rains, Ada Bee Rains, Thorryn Rains, Idabelle Rains, Celia Rains and Sonny Rains; and his great grandchild Myles McCrackin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home (201 Pine St, West Memphis, AR 72301). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel (201 Pine St, West Memphis, AR 72301).
In lieu of flowers, Johnny's family would be honored to have memorial donations made to the SSGT Taylor Hoover Memorial Foundation in honor of Taylor Hoover, Johnny's Great- nephew, for whom he had much respect.
