With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Garrott Jr. of Proctor, Arkansas, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on March 22, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lester and Bobbie Lee Loyd Garrott; his brother Daniel Loyd Garrott; his grandparents, Neely Stanley, Helen Greer Garrott and John Benard; and his nephew Nathan Scott Smith.
He is survived by: his uncle Jack Garrott; his sisters, Nancy Garrott and Sarah Beth Christian (Don) of West Memphis, Arkansas; his stepbrother Ian Garrott (Tiffany) of Memphis, Tennessee; and his cousins, Lucy Woodson, Peggy Peters of Memphis, Tennessee, Louise Logue of Little Rock, Tim Logue of Hillsboro, Karen, Parker of Forrest City, Susan Smith (David) of Cordova, Rachael Cullman of Jackson and Helen Henson of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
