He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Mark and Clara Gertrude Dellinger McCain; his wife Billie Harris McCain; and his great grandchild Jaycee Naomi Elaine Mason. He is survived by: his sister Jenada Ellis; his daughter Barbara; his son-in-law Gary Lowdermilk; his grandchildren, Sammy (Amy Lowdermilk) and James (Whitney Mason); his great grandchildren, Peyton Mason, Maggie Lowdermilk and Alaina Mason; and his niece Sarah Prince.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home Chapel (201 W 2nd St N, Prescott, AR 71857). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Christ (305 E Main St, Prescott, AR 71857). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Red and Billie were honored by the Nevada County Chamber of Commerce with the "Treasure of Gold" award, a fitting tribute to their contributions to the community.
