He was predeceased by: his parents, DeWillie Gulley and Lodia Harrell-Gulley; his wife Daisy Dansby-Gulley; and his brothers, J. D. Gulley, Willie Gulley, Henry Lee Gulley, Althemier Gulley and Wayman Gulley.
He is survived by: his children, Mercal T. Gulley, Jr. (Teresa), Barbara (Daniel Purifoy) of Prescott Arkansas and Shirley (Marshal Purifoy) of Bluff City, Arkansas.; and his siblings, Lazarus (Arizona Gulley) of Rosston, Eddie (Helen Gulley) of Rockford Illinois and Mary Kate London of Pine Bluff. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Because of CDC guidelines from COVID and the rise of cases, all who intend to attend will be required to wear a mask and adhere to current social distancing guidelines.
