He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert W Griffin and Connie Clendenon Griffin Sr.; his sister Barbara Flowers Burke; and his son-in-law Bert Wingfield (Dorothy Absher Griffin). He is survived by: his children, Glenn David Griffin and Donna Sue Wingfield (Richard Lee Griffin). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
