He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rainwater and Virginia Rainwater. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rainwater; his children, DJ Griffin (Stephanie), Christy Steed (Jerry), Melissa Owens (Jeff), Amy Parker (Duane), Nicolle Godwin (Casey) and Tammy Wroten; his stepmother Opal Rainwater; and his siblings, Linda Rowland and Michael A. Williams. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
