She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Avery and Alta Garrett Avery; her husband Herbert Sloan Hawley; her son Steve Hawley; and her sister Marguerite Avery.
She is survived by: her daughter Connie; her son-in-law Eddie McKelvy of Bluff City; her grandchildren, Joseph McKelvy (Elizabeth) of Seneca, Daniel McKelvy (Jade) of Prescott and Astin Hawley of Hot Springs, Arkansas.; her great grandchildren, Tyler Betts, Carbon Javelet, Lorraine McKelvy, Ella McKelvy, Ruel McKelvy and Atlas Javelet; and her great great grandchild Braelyn Betts.
