He is survived by : his wife Anna Lewis; his children, Angela Irene Lewis Gilbert, William Loyd Lewis II (Wenhong Yang) and David Michael Lewis (Nancy Lynn); his sister Virginia Martha Smith; and his grandchildren, William "Trey" Loyd Lewis III, Courtney Hope Lewis, Michael Joshua Lewis, Brin Nichole Lewis and Marcus Xavier Lewis.
