It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rommie G. Smith of Prattsville, Arkansas, born in Sheridan, Arkansas, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Velma Stubbs Smith; his wife Betty Jo Smith; his son Marvin Joe Smith; and his great grandchildren, Maddix, Meyer and McKayla Smith.
He is survived by: his sons, Victor Smith (Marsha) of Benton and Dwayne Smith (Martha) of Sheridan; his siblings, Ralph Smith (Robyn) of Grapevine and Martha Smith Harrison (Terry) of Kentucky; his grandsons, Jody, Eric (Chrystin) and Chad (Carrie); and his great grandchildren, Erin, Colton, Carly, Abygail and Emma.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Philadelphia Cemetery.
